Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental analyses for assigned commodities on supply-demand dynamics, macroeconomic and geopolitical factors and regulatory changes affecting the market.
- Develop price forecasting models based on historical data, macroeconomic indicators and market trends.
- Amalgamate different analyses to formulate trading decisions
- Prepare and maintain trading reports on P&L and market movements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the commodities trading industry.
- Good quantitative skills, including experience with data analysis tools (e.g. excel, python) and market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Understanding of oil market fundamentals.
- Good communication skills and ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
