Assistant Manager

ATP Personal Training, a dedicated personal training gym, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team. Ideal candidates should have experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or fitness. This role demands excellent communication skills, punctuality, and organizational prowess, as it involves significant client interaction.


Position Details:

  • Permanent Full-Time position + CPF
  • 5 day in person work week (44 hours), including some weekend operations (managing inbox)
  • Flexible work timings
  • Location: ATP Singapore, 105 Cecil St. (Near Telok Ayer MRT)

Reception Duties:

  • Master reception responsibilities, including handling calls, emails, bookings, cancellations, and overall client interaction.
  • Ensure smooth running of the reception area during busy periods.

Assistant Manager Duties:

  • Assist the General Manager with daily gym operations, focusing on customer service and collaboration with contractors and suppliers.
  • Communicate with clients during consultation sessions, providing detailed explanations about our training programs, services, and package offerings.
  • Engage with clients and coordinate with coaches for client renewals.
  • Manage and train staff, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee communication and document management within the company.
  • Supervise the scheduling, training, and performance of personal trainers.
  • Drive business development strategies for gym growth.
  • Serve as the go-to person for Mindbody software and maintain strong vendor relations.
  • Manage gym equipment inventory.
  • Develop and maintain gym systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Operate independently in the General Manager's absence, ensuring smooth gym functioning.
  • Keep open lines of communication with the General Manager, addressing any significant issues promptly.
  • Effectively handle crises, complaints, and emergencies.
  • Align personal and team efforts with the company's goals, reporting progress regularly.
  • Coordinate the team, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and resolving disputes.
