Job Description:
As a Japanese-Speaking Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating recruitment processes and fostering relationships with Japanese-speaking clients. Your fluency in Japanese language proficiency will be essential in effectively communicating with Japanese-speaking clients, understanding their recruitment needs, and providing tailored solutions. You will work closely with the Consultant Team to ensure successful placement of candidates while maintaining client satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand various industries, with a focus on sectors where hiring of talented professionals are in demand. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and talent availability to inform recruitment strategies.
- Client Development and Maintenance: Identify and develop relationships with clients, both new and existing. Cultivate strong partnerships by understanding their business objectives, culture, and recruitment needs.
- Client Consultation: Provide expert advice and consultation to clients regarding their recruitment requirements. Collaborate with clients to develop customized recruitment strategies tailored to their specific needs and preferences.
- Position Delivery and Communication: Manage the delivery of new positions secured from clients by liaising closely with the Consultant Team. Ensure clear communication of position requirements, client expectations, and candidate profiles to facilitate successful placements.
- Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with clients to finalize terms of engagement, including service fees, contract terms, and candidate offers. Strive to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining client satisfaction and business profitability.
- Networking: Attend networking sessions, industry events, and professional gatherings to expand professional networks and foster new business opportunities. Actively engage with potential clients to promote services and build lasting relationships.
Requirements:
- Fluency in Japanese language proficiency (written and spoken) is essential for effective communication with Japanese-speaking clients.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or recruitment, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of market research methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with Japanese-speaking clients.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop effective recruitment strategies and solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to drive consensus among stakeholders.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong drive to achieve targets and goals.
- Flexibility to attend networking events outside regular business hours as required.
