As an IT Application Support Analyst you'll have the opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting their global ETRM applications. You'll work closely with teams worldwide, identifying and resolving complex technical issues, and ensuring seamless operations.
What you'll do:
Be a problem-solver: Use your analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate globally: Work with teams across the globe to provide exceptional support and maintain strong relationships. Drive innovation: Contribute to the development and implementation of new systems and processes. Train and empower: Provide user training and support to ensure optimal application usage.
What you'll need:
Technical expertise: A strong foundation in computer science or a related field, coupled with hands-on experience in application support in Commodities or Investment Banking Trading. Knowledge of Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM/ETRM) systems, SQL, and either Python programming or excel vba macros would help but not necessary. Many of these skills can be overlooked if the candidate is hungry to learn and dedicated to providing excellent support levels: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users at all levels are also important.
