Position Overview:
As an Early Childhood English Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a dynamic curriculum that promotes holistic development for young learners according to EYDF/NEL. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore their creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focused on Values, Social Development and Learning Disposition, through English language & literacy, Numeracy, Discovery of the world, Motor skills, Aesthetic & Creative Expression.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student's progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education, English.
- Experience working with young children, in an early childhood setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans and learning environment.
