Expand into the renewables sector by identifying and securing profitable charters and business opportunities in renewables markets in the Asia-Pacific region to achieve extensive commercial coverage.
Role:
- Ensure that Business Unit receivables are maintained below 3 months’ revenue.
- Ensure full compliance and timely execution of all commercial function policies and processes.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date map of clients in all identified renewables markets within Business Unit.
- Develop and keep updated organizational charts identifying key “buyers,” “users,” and “influencers” for high-priority clients in renewables markets.
- Record all visit reports and opportunities in Poseidon or other marketing tools.
- Plan and submit a client visit schedule for the identified renewables markets in Business Unit.
- Respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and submit all proposals or tenders within the client’s deadline or as agreed upon with the client.
- Track open bids or submitted proposals, and ensure timely follow-up with clients until an award outcome is reached.
- Represent the company at industry events related to renewables markets to promote services.
- Provide updates or reports in the Monthly Management Review meeting to Senior Management.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant commercial and business development experience in the offshore industry, with a preference for experience in renewables markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
