Role Profile
This role pursues sales targets for the Company’s products and provides technical advisory for the sales team and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering
- Organize marketing activities and products demonstrations to architects, designers, developers, and contractors to showcase the features and benefits of our product
- Provide technical support and advice to product representatives, customers and contractors
Sales
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within the construction sector
- Identify and prospect potential customers, including contractors, and construction firms
- Provide accurate and timely quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits, follow-ups, and addressing their needs
- Raise purchase requisitions and collection of payment from customers when falling due
Competence (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Understanding and knowledge of Construction / Building / Architecture operating environment
- Skills in preparation of materials and presenting in small group settings (user demo and training, customer presentation)
- Skills in negotiation with customers and suppliers on requirements
- Skills in relating to and servicing the customers with a win-win mind set
- Skills in managing the sales process, including sales proposal, negotiation and closing the sales
Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of in-house products
- Able to deal with routine tasks and perform tasks with some level of complexity
- Take decisions for own tasks in defined degree of freedom
- Able to solve problems in most cases and within guidelines
- Works independently within guidelines, defined procedures, and direction
- Adaptable to changes, new ideas and technologies to improve processes and efficiencies
Education & Experience:
· Minimum Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or its equivalent
· Minimum 3 years of sales experience preferably with building / technical product knowledge
