Job Scope:

  • The Service Advisor (SA) is responsible for coordinating and scheduling vehicle service or repair work while serving as the primary point of contact for customers. They gather customer feedback, manage service orders, and oversee the entire service process with a focus on customer satisfaction. Acting as a diplomat, coordinator, and technical expert, the SA ensures all customer concerns are addressed and resolved efficiently.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Deputy After-Sales Manager and Service Workshop Executive to optimize daily bookings for vehicle repairs and servicing.
  • Greet customers at the service reception, address inquiries, and process service or repair requests by issuing job cards for proper documentation.
  • Check for open service campaigns or recalls using the PIWIS system.
  • Follow After-Sales core process principles to ensure efficient service operations.
  • Monitor repair or service progress and provide customers with regular status updates on their vehicles.
  • Prepare repair quotations for customers, including estimates for body and paint work.
  • Assist insurance surveyors during assessments for accident-related claims (specifically for accident, body, and paint repairs).
  • Obtain customer approval for additional repairs when needed.
  • Coordinate with the workshop quality controller to ensure the quality of repairs before contacting customers for vehicle collection.
  • Close job cards and prepare service invoices, explaining any outstanding issues to the customer and arranging for vehicle return.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, promoting Service Tequipment and PDS products when appropriate.
  • Report any issues or challenges encountered during daily work to the After-Sales Manager.
  • Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas and that all keys are securely stored in the key box.
  • Complete and submit customer satisfaction survey forms to the Service Assistant.
  • Update customers when special ordered parts are received by the parts department.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driver’s license, with the ability to drive and maneuver customer vehicles within the service center and parking areas.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management as required.
