Responsibilities:
- As an SAP Solution Consultant, you will provide architectural, technical, and functional consulting for global SAP template and rollout projects, while also engaging in customer support and project coordination.
- Serve as the technical team lead for deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
- Participate in various stages of the software development lifecycle, including establishing development guidelines, documentation standards, quality assurance, mentoring junior colleagues, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Assess new SAP technologies and support knowledge-building in these areas, integrating them into company processes.
- Lead a team of SAP developers, overseeing tasks such as team management, defining work packages, and coordinating and monitoring project activities.
- Mentor colleagues in functional, technical, and methodological topics.
- Manage company SAP projects and client engagements, and provide pre-sales support on various SAP technology topics.
- Analyze functional requirements and develop technical designs and approaches for complex IT solutions.
- Implement solutions independently using modern programming languages (ABAP 7.4+, CDS, SAPUI5, JavaScript) and tools (SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, ABAP Workbench).
- Engage in an Agile software development cycle, collaborating with project managers and functional counterparts.
Requirements:
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related scientific field, preferably with a background in business or commerce.
- Qualifications and Skills for SAP Senior Solution Consultant/Solution Architect and S/4 HANA
- Minimum of 8 years of experience (for Solution Architect) or 5 years (for Senior Solution Developer) as an SAP ABAP developer in customer projects or similar environments.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, as well as knowledge in areas like HANA, SAPUI5, XSLT, and Java.
- Familiarity with Data Migration (LTMC/LSMW), AIF, Process Integration/Orchestration, Cloud Platform Integration, Business Technology Platform, and Fiori development is advantageous.
- Expertise in enhancing solutions related to MDG (Master Data Governance), GTS (Global Trade Services), eWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and TM (Transportation Management) is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of at least one SAP module in logistics or finance.
- Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies is a plus.
