Roles & Responsibilities
Managing design process from conception through to final styling.
Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.
Mood boards, design development and presentation.
Design and fabric research, sourcing, preparing prototype and prototype development.
Create technical drawings for sampling and presentation.
Liaise with relevant parties on development and construction.
Manage fabric and trims library.
Develop and acquire new customers from given and generated leads.
Attend to customer's enquiries and prepare sales quotations.
Liasse with relevant parties (e.g. factories, suppliers, sub-contractor, etc.) for fabric sourcing, sampling sourcing and coordinate production delivery
Manage and coordinate orders to ensure order are up to client specification
Design and develop fashion collections, including sketches, patterns, and prototypes for clothing and accessories.
Collaborate with the founders and team to create unique designs aligned with the brand’s vision.
Research and stay updated on fashion trends, materials, and techniques.
Oversee the production process to ensure that designs are produced accurately and efficiently.
Assisting with order processing including receiving, processing and reviewing customer transactions and service enquiries received by phone and mail/e-mail; includes rectifying
Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.
Selecting fabrics and trims.
Creating production sketches for development packages.
Assisting in the selling process through customer education and direct personal contact.
Participate in fabric sourcing, color selection, and garment fittings.
Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely completion.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
