Contract Period: 1 Jan 2025 – 31 Dec 2025 (with an option to extend to 31 Dec 2026)
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (inclusive of 30-minute lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory Cleaning and Maintenance:Sweep and mop laboratory and preparation room floors after use.
Empty trash bins daily from sink areas and floors.
Clean laboratory benches and sinks after practical lessons.
Refill hand soap, disinfectants, and paper towels regularly.
Empty broken glassware containers when full.
- Cleaning of Laboratory Equipment:Clean and wash laboratory glassware (beakers, measuring cylinders, plastic bottles, vials) under the laboratory technician’s guidance.
- Support in Laboratory Preparation:Assist the laboratory technician with the setup and replication of experimental setups.
Weigh chemicals, prepare solutions, and arrange science-related equipment or materials.
Replenish and distribute laboratory equipment and chemicals to students during practical lessons.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of working experience supporting school operations, preferably in a science laboratory.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in cleaning and supporting science laboratory operations is highly desirable.
- Skills: Ability to follow instructions, work under supervision, and handle laboratory equipment safely.
