Responsibilities
- Report to and work closely with the Catering Operations Manager
- Loading and unloading of equipment and food
- Punctual delivery of food and setting up of events according to Delivery Order requirements
- Compliant to the mandatory hygiene and safety standards and requirements
- Responsible for proper handling of catering equipment.
- Liaise with clients on set-up requirements.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicle.
- Exhibit excellent customer service.
- Any other duties assigned by Supervisor/ Catering Operations Manager.
Requirements
- Possess Singapore class 3/ 4 driving license with clean records and good driving skills.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers in simple English.
- Independent and self-motivated individual with positive attitude.
- Able to work under pressure and a good team player.
- Able to work independently and yet adhere to the strict timelines.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of heavy events equipment.
- Able to work in a fast- paced environment.
- Experience in the set-up of buffet events will be advantageous.
- Familiar with Singapore roads
