- Analyze financial statements, credit histories and other relevant data to evaluate potential and existing clients.
- Monitor credit risk exposure and adjust strategies as needed to minimize potential losses.
- Create and update policies related to credit risk ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
- Work with bankers to support credit decisions and address client needs.
- Prepare reports on credit risk metrics and portfolio performance for senior management.
- Communicate credit decisions to clients and explain lending policies.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a credit risk-related role preferably in the private banking sector.
- Strong ability to analyze financial data and assess risks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations clearly.
