The Assistant General Manager collaborates with the Business Manager and Managing Director to oversee and manage all aspects of the business operations.
A Day in the life of the Assistant General Manager :
- Oversees and manage the 4 areas of business :
- Legal Compliance.
- Day to day operations.
- Risk Management.
- Finance Overview.
- Work with the Management team to ensure operational issues are resolved.
- Reviews and approve all Company processes and policies to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Evaluate the Company structure and make recommendations to the Managing Director for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the Company.
- Driving change, innovation, and continuous improvement in support of company opportunities.
- Implement and monitor yield management in all divisions to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company standards including proposals, costing of proposals.
- Oversee headcount and budget management to enhance the company's productivity and ensure effective succession planning.
- Provide leadership by communicating and reinforcing the company's strategic direction to stakeholders.
- Conduct quarterly reviews for all departments to ensure all targets are being met.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to create an effective sales strategy, developing a strong understanding of business and profit drivers while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by attending meetings and functions as needed.
You will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role within an SME or start-up environment.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
