Job Description
- Development of strategy and implementation plan to create a planning and scheduling capability to identify long, mid and short-term production requirements to support quality execution of the production plan.
- Develop planning and scheduling tools which translate forecast demand into production requirements.
- Create and maintain the master production schedule
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs
- Adjust the master schedule as needed to accommodate changes in customer demand or production constraints
- Generate regular reports on order status, production progress, and inventory levels
- Identify potential scheduling problems and work with relevant departments to resolve them
- Develop tools to understand production performance to inform continuous performance opportunities, production capacity slot planning, articulate impact of programme changes on delivery to milestones and inform future programmes on hours required to deliver product components.
- Early engagement in the product lifecycle to inform the bid and programme management activities on production capabilities, work collaboratively to develop solutions to deliver to customer requirements/expectations.
Requirements
- Degree in logistics or supply chain planning
- Possess superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
