Responsibilities
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of assigned areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces such as floors, windows, and furniture.
- Trash Removal: Collect and properly dispose of garbage, recyclables, and waste materials, ensuring trash bins are emptied regularly.
- Restroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Equipment Care: Use cleaning tools and equipment (mops, vacuums, disinfectants, etc.) properly, and report any malfunctioning equipment to management for repair or replacement.
- Stocking Supplies: Monitor and restock cleaning and sanitary supplies as needed, ensuring all cleaning areas have sufficient materials for daily operations.
- Special Cleaning Tasks: Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, or polishing floors, as required by the employer.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to health and safety standards while handling chemicals, and follow proper procedures for sanitizing surfaces to prevent contamination.
- Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance issues or hazards (e.g., leaks, damaged equipment) to the management or maintenance team.
