Location: Pandan, West
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the organization's procurement requirements.
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and manage supplier relationships.
- Coordinate the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations related to purchasing activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and provide support and guidance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities, including contracts, invoices, and supplier information.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in purchasing and procurement.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a purchasing executive or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certification in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus.
