JOB DESCRIPTION:
Department: Monozukuri Engineering
Reports to: Manager of Monozukuri Engineering Department
Functional relationships:
- Machinery R&D division in Japan
- Machinery Engineering section in ASEAN factories
POSITION PROFILE:
This position is to organize the activities for enhancement of production capability and productivity in ASEAN factories such as local machine fabrication, providing technical support & solution to ASEAN factories and machine design collaboration with Japan HQ.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Policy, strategy alignment and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group company in Japan & ASEAN.
- Initiate periodical meetings with Japan HQ or other group company to solve problems in own Division.
- Establish new training course related to visual inspection machine in ASEAN that contributes to human resource development for machine maintenance engineers.
- Provide machine technical support related to visual inspection machine to ASEAN factories such as machine setup, machine trouble shooting and customization.
- Perform software design/modification for in-house visual inspection machine which use for mass production of MLCC.
- Establish and take initiative of new PJT to improve a yield in inspection process of MLCC.
Ability/Competency required
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or science field.
- 5 years and above of relevant experiences in machine maintenance.
- Deep & specialized technical knowledge in visual inspection process / image processing technology.
- Logical thinking, conceptual skills, and leadership.
- Strong mind-set for change and improvement.
- Fluent in Japanese language.
- Proactive attitude and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
