Job Purpose
Responsible for strategic planning, implementation, managing and running of all finance activities of the Company and it’s subsidiaries (business planning, budgeting, forecasting, merger & acquisition, risk and governance as well as negotiations and obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive company’s financial planning and advise on long-term business and financial planning.
- Provide leadership, direction and management of finance and accounting team.
- Provide strategic recommendations to CEO and members of executive management team.
- Set up and oversee company’s finance IT system.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting and budgets.
- Oversee preparation of all financial and tax reporting.
- Review and assist to revise business plan targets.
- Perform risk management by analyzing organization’s liabilities and investments.
- Provide strategic advice, lead and manage in merger and acquisition as well as business deal structuring.
- Establishe and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
- Manage key vendor relationships.
- Review SOP processes that eventually comes into financial reporting.
- Evaluate organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Financial Controller in listed company.
- Familiar with Financial Reporting Standard for listing company.
- Well-versed in all aspects of financial management.
- Indepth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence to work with senior management, investors and external stakeholders.
- Able to strategize and solve problems.
- Has regional exposure.
- Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgement.
