The School of Social Sciences is looking for a part-time lecturer for the module “The Continuum of Care: A System Perspective”. He/She will be responsible for coordinating the course syllabus with the instructors, tutoring students, preparing assessment components, and marking of student assignments. This will contribute to the smooth running of the module for both instructors and students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching Duties: Preparation and development of course syllabus, coordination of lecture materials with various instructors, class instruction in physical and online settings, conducting seminars related to topics on Continuum of Care, and handling of students’ queries on course matters.
2. Course Assignment Duties: Development of assessment components and grading rubrics (including setting of questions & answers e.g. quizzes), assessing and grading of the continuous assessments, and attendance during the Board of Examiners meeting to discuss students’ marks.
Key Requirements:
• PhD degree in Healthcare Management/Social Sciences or Masters in related fields with relevant experience
• Extensive industry and/or academic experience
• Effective coordination and communication skills
• Strong ability in facilitating classroom-based and online learning
