Role:

This is a full-time, onsite, Science Teacher Aide Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOE Primary School (nearest MRT- Bedok) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

  • Prepare materials for daily lessons, department noticeboard displays, regular department programmes such as competitions and external school activities, perform gardening duties related to science curriculum and provide support for ad-hoc science programmes
  • Clean and organise science equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of science labs
  • Manage and organise inventory list
  • Provide logistical support in department and school programmes
  • Support in administrative work, Microsoft applications - excel, word
  • Able to keep calm and work in dynamic environment
  • Assist with planting/greening activities held in eco-garden and it’s routine maintenance.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager

Job Requirements:

  • He/She must have passed minimally “N” level
  • He/She must be able to communicate in English
  • He/She must have minimally 2 years of prior experience working in a primary school Science laboratory.
  • He/She should be able to report to school by 7.15 am daily.
  • He/She should preferably have worked with plants or involved in planting/greening activities to support teachers carrying out eco-garden maintenance.

Summary:


Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:15am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025


Location: Bedok MRT.
