Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts routine analyses in compliance with applicable methods, protocols, SOPs, and regulatory agency guidelines
- Carries out testing on all aspects of work and calibration of equipment in the respective section when necessary
- Supports the team by maintaining equipment, logs, and record books; troubleshooting and resolving problems and helping with special projects
- Maintains glassware by picking-up, cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and distributing when necessary
- Monitors and keeps laboratory supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs
- Documents information by maintaining laboratory daily logs and equipment record books and documentations
- Assists team and completes projects by attending and participating in group meetings
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
- Enhances laboratory and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Prepares test reports as well as perform other related lab administrative work
- Performs the works related to safety and quality control, as well as prepare the documents accordingly
- Maintains and upkeeps records
- Performs other duties as assigned
