- To enhance sales volume with existing accounts and bring in new customers monthly for assigned trade lanes including cross trades.
- To nurture excellent relations with clients and make sure their requirements have been professionally understood and responded to
- To handle the rate requests and RFQs, problem solving for operation issues timely
- To ensure the assigned Trade lifting is successfully fulfilled and promoting growth for the accounts.
- To perform contract negotiation with the clients and follow up on sales leads.
- To keep up with relevant Trades updates on clients’ feedback and performance and resolves their complaints and provide solutions.
- To ensure relevant Trade Control Region (TCR) Prospect is updated accurately and promptly.
- To monitor and gather up to date market information.
- To produce regular reports on MS performance and other related performance report in comparison to same period last year for the OOCL book of business when assigned to.
- Process credit application: review and update credit terms as required by Sales and Finance
- To enhance focus in the role of Trade in the Region (TIR) and deliver the set targets for both Outbound and Inbound numbers.
- To ensure your contribution towards full & down for assigned loops calling Singapore.
- To achieve the business volume for Outbound numbers, to match Inbound numbers and reducing idling of empties.
- To ensure Agreement Builder and Standard Contract rates are file promptly and accurately and to monitor.
- To sell & work on project cargoes aside container liner business.
Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Marine related.
- Min 4 years of relevant experience.
- Self-Discipline for all work-related issues including administration work within the scope
- Self-motivated to meet the given sales target
- Salary will be commensurate based on experience and qualification
