Develop next generation robotics applications (ie: beyond ROS2.0) for industrial customers' base.
Mandatory expectations expected for ROS programming framework and simulators (Nvidia Omniverse, Unity, UE5) to develop applications and toolkits. Candidate is expected to have experience and interest towards A.I (ie: PPO, Transformers, RL, ML) developments.
Candidate should demonstrate track record running programs (project management and systems engineering capabilities), also interest and aptitude for operations-technology-business integration and translation to end customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive application development, aligned to industrial standards towards industrial automation.
- Develop software testing and validation strategies in accordance with industry standards.
- Develop next generation industrial automation solutions involving AI/ML
- Strong capabilities in Project Management and Systems Engineering
- Track record of software systems engineering
- Develop software solutions using C++, Python and ROS libraries and tools
- Design methodologies and documentation for customer (UML2.0. OOAD, OOP)
- Implementation using C/C++, RTOS, Python, ROS libraries and tools
- Strong knowledge of Software Quality Assurance (functional / non-functional commissioning requirements) and Cyber Security (VAPT, IM8, AIAS)
- Candidate is expected to be given latitude and thus perform as a self-starter, function independently to generate worthy solutions and as a team leader
- Technical write up and presentation
Job Requirements:
- Qualification & field of study: PhD degree in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- Min. years of experience: 5 years
- Other requirements (e.g. skills, competencies): Experience in software engineering, experience in Project Management and Systems Engineering
