Job Description:
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates and quantity measurement for both pre- and post- contract administration
- Obtain quotations, negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Prepare costing and submit quotations to clients
- Follow up with vendors for update of materials and equipment pricing
- Liaise with clients for all tenders scope of works and related matters
- Work with Projects Managers on project administration matters, contractual obligation and cost impact for project, etc.
- Assist in the preparation of tender submission documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in filing and recording of documents
Requirements:
- Degree or professional qualification in M&E Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the electrical, M&E or construction sectors
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes and cost management principles
- Good knowledge of materials and works for site usage
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
