Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Business Management.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Participating in the planning, creation, and implementation of training programmes and initiatives
  • Provide logistics support for training programme rollout
  • Monitoring enrolments of training programmes
  • Conduct learning briefings as required
  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date, correct, and accurate training records, such as trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, and etc
  • Booking classrooms or other appropriate venues and ensuring that they are properly set up
  • Overseeing the preparation and dissemination of materials such as instructional notes, feedback forms, and so on
  • Serving as a bridge or a point of contact for vendors and participants
  • Handling and resolving issues as they arise
  • Gathering, filing, and submitting reports as they come up on site
  • Ensuring that employees and vendors follow established learning guidelines and policies

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and adequate knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure, and strong endurance skills
  • The ability to multitask, and excellent organizational skills
  • Meticulous with strong attention to details
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills to converse effectively with trainees, departmental heads, and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs
  • Highly driven and possess the ability to succeed within a challenging environment
  • Outgoing disposition, well-equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Down to earth and resilient individual with a collaborative mindset who can work independently and in a strong team environment
  • Proactive in seeking continuous improvements
  • The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and over 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Candidates with strong administrative skillsets, not in a similar role will be considered
  • Strong knowledge of banking
