We are looking for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to join our team at our Korean restaurant. You are required to have a strong background in restaurant operations, a passion for Korean cuisine, and excellent management skills.
[Key Responsibilities]
· Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure a high standard of service and food quality.
- Coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house activities to maintain a smooth workflow.
· Customer Management:
- Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and a memorable dining experience.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.
- Monitor customer feedback to continuously improve service and offerings.
· Staff Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff to provide exceptional service.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
· Marketing & Promotion:
- Assist in promoting the restaurant through social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Coordinate special events, seasonal promotions, or themed nights that highlight Korean culture and food.
- Work closely with the Managing Director to develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at attracting more customers.
· Inventory & Ordering:
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food and beverages in compliance with health regulations.
· Compliance and Safety:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety following health regulations.
[Qualifications]
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 1+ year of working experience as a Restaurant Operations Manager or similar role, preferably in a Korean restaurant or the F&B industry.
· Strong knowledge of Korean cuisine, culture, and dining customs.
· Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing a diverse staff.
· Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including customer management and inventory management.
· Ability to handle high-pressure situations, particularly during busy meal times.
· Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems.
· Proficiency in Korean language is preferred to effectively communicate with Korean staffs and customers.
