We are seeking committed and motivated individuals to fill the following position:

Human Resource Vice President

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Human Resources (HR VP) will provide strategic leadership for HR functions. This role will be instrumental in aligning HR initiatives with Toyota’s business goals, enhancing workforce capability, and fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. The VP will partner closely with executive leadership to ensure that HR strategies support the overall mission and vision of the organization.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with Toyota’s corporate objectives and long-term vision.
  • Provide guidance to senior leadership on organizational design, talent management, and cultural transformation.
  • Lead initiatives to attract and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with Toyota’s commitment to quality and innovation.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of leadership development programs to cultivate a strong leadership pipeline.
  • Leading and mentoring an HR team across the region
  • Window person to strategize Japanese Expatriates movement to the regions
  • Champion initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to enhance agility and responsiveness to market changes.
  • Foster a culture that embraces change and innovation, ensuring alignment with Toyota’s core values.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • Japanese Language is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge on Labour law in Japan, Thailand & Singapore with a deep understanding of global HR practices.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within the automotive sector
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data to drive HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience collaborating with Japanese and Thai office.
