Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic squad team. The ideal candidate will perform the In-Dev Tester role, ensuring that committed functionalities are developed and deployed in alignment with user stories. You will work closely with team members to maintain the quality and efficiency of our software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with squad team members to ensure functionalities are developed and deployed correctly according to user stories.
- Prepare test cases and test scenarios based on a thorough understanding of user requirements.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to contribute to the software development lifecycle.
- Execute test cases, log defects, and track issues using JIRA.
- Generate agile quality metrics based on test execution results.
- Provide daily reports on test case coverage and execution results.
- Conduct functionality demos to stakeholders and the Product Owner at the end of each sprint.
- Work effectively with diverse stakeholders to resolve blockers and navigate complexities.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Strong experience in Java and Java scripting, with a solid understanding of advanced Spring frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Bitbucket.
- Experience with API testing and automation, as well as writing basic SQL queries.
- Exposure to developing scripts in a Service-Oriented Architecture.
Preferred:
- Experience in Transaction Banking, specifically in Cash Management.
- Involvement in complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, Confluence, and JIRA.
Technical Skills:
- Testing and Java scripting expertise, particularly in the Banking Payments domain.
- Proven ability to decompose complex problems into manageable parts for effective problem-solving.
