Overview:
The role involves coordinating with various Application Teams to establish and enhance a Monitoring System, as well as developing and implementing application improvements. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and optimizing applications running in an OpenShift environment, providing bug fixes, and adding enhancements to existing applications built with Java, Python, and Shell scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust Monitoring System for applications.
- Provide support and ensure smooth operations for applications running within the OpenShift environment.
- Conduct bug fixes and enhancements for existing applications developed using Java, Python, and Shell scripting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Java programming (essential).
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting (essential).
- Familiarity with Java, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Grafana (preferred).
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Angular and Tapestry (advantageous).
- Knowledge of JBoss, MariaDB, Filebeat, and Metricbeat (advantageous).
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools or container platforms (optional).
- Practical knowledge of containerization platforms, especially OpenShift, will be highly valued (optional).
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and weekends when required.
