Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of rigging workers, ensuring effective execution of rigging operations.
- Implement rigging plans, including selecting appropriate rigging equipment and techniques for various tasks.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety briefings and ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards.
- Oversee the inspection of rigging equipment and materials to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with other construction teams, including crane operators, site engineers and HSE personnel, to coordinate rigging activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Identify and resolve any rigging-related issues or challenges that arise during construction operations.
- Maintain records of rigging operations, including equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur on site.
Prerequisites:
- Possess relevant technical certifications.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rigging operations and supervision, preferably in construction projects.
- Strong understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and industry standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and workers management skills.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and practices in rigging and lifting operations.
- Willing to work extended hours and on weekends.
