Teacher Aide Job Scope & Responsibilities
1. Science – Preparation of Science Lab for lab work (getting the
items for experiment, setting up the stations, assist teacher to
purchase of perishables, ensure equipment/materials are
sufficient for group work)
2. Sorting and keeping equipment after experiments. Maintaining
the Science labs – cleanliness, stock taking, etc
3. Maths – Setting up stations for Maths Practical Tests, assist
during practical tests, replace items that have been used up or
spoilt
4. Assist in office work when not required at the labs for Science
and Maths, e.g. answering phone calls, attend to walk-in
customers and attend to unwell/injured students
5. Assist to call and update students who are absent
6. Assist in collating data, data entry, general typing, filing,
photocopying, faxing, binding, laminating and distributing of mails
and materials.
7. Any other admin duties or task assigned by Admin Manager
(AM), Admin Executive (AE), Operations Manager (OM), School
Leaders (SLs) and Key Personnel (KPs)
