Job Summary:
As a Mid-Senior UI Designer, you will lead the design of visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our digital products. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, developers, and product managers to ensure that the designs are both aesthetically engaging and functionally robust. We are looking for mid-weight designers who can rationalize their design decisions, confidently challenge design problems, and stay up to date with the latest tech trends, including AI and GenAI.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead UI design efforts for web and mobile applications.
· Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes, iterating on designs based on feedback.
· Establish and enforce design guidelines and standards across all platforms.
· Conduct user research and usability tests to collect feedback and enhance designs.
· Collaborate with developers for seamless design implementation.
· Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, including AI and GenAI.
· Confidently challenge design problems and provide rationalized design decisions.
· Mentor junior designers and contribute to their career development.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive UI component library.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
· 4-5 years of UI design experience.
· Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
· Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Excellent visual design skills and a sharp eye for detail.
· Ability to confidently rationalize design decisions and address design challenges.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
· Awareness of emerging technologies like AI and GenAI and how they impact design.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in the financial sector.
· Extensive experience with user research and usability testing.
