Game 2D & UI Artist / Generalist (Unity Mobile Games)
We are looking for a Generalist, someone who is keen to work in mobile game company doing a hybrid of 2D + UI art.
- Produce high quality 2D western-style concept art and illustrations;
- User Interface (UI) Design - UI Elements: Designing intuitive and visually appealing UI components (buttons, icons, menus etc) that enhance user experience;
- Layout Design: Organizing the UI layout to ensure a logical flow and accessibility, making it user-friendly and easy to navigate.
- Responsiveness and Adaptability: Ensuring that UI elements function well across different screen sizes and resolutions;
- Ensure that the graphic elements follow the mobile game’s art direction;
- Understand the design brief and decide on the best and most efficient way to execute them;
- Defining Visual Style: Establishing the overall visual style and ensuring consistency throughout all art assets, think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts;
- Mood Boards and Art Direction: Creating mood boards and guiding concepts to help unify the aesthetic vision of the game.
Requirements:
· Singaporeans
· Possess Diploma or Degree in Fine Arts, Illustrations, Media, Visual Graphics, UI/UX design or equivalent qualification
· Good understanding of line and form, color and light, human/animal anatomy, technical and architecture design, and environmental painting
· Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator
· Knowledge of other tools such as Blender, Zbrush, Maya etc will be good
· Adaptability to western-style games and graphic styles (pixel, cartoon, realistic, illustration, etc.)
· Knowledgeable in contemporary media (Web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)
· Open-minded and outward looking
· Organized and efficient
