About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales/Sales Manager to drive sales strategy for a leading consumer electronics brand. This role focuses on building relationships with distributors and direct mass merchant accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily sales operations for brick-and-mortar channels, including mass merchandisers, independent dealers, and wholesalers.
  • Takes on a leadership role to guide the distribution team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs), such as dealer sell-through, market inventory management, channel profitability, stock aging, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Manages the distribution budget effectively to maximize ROI and meet objectives.
  • Conducts in-depth analysis of business performance by channel and product to optimize profitability.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting key distributors (e.g., Best Denki, Courts, Harvey, Audio House) and mass merchant accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers while identifying and onboarding new distribution partners.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, setting clear goals and performance metrics to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular meetings with dealers to assess performance, gather feedback, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership within the consumer electronics sector.
  • Strong network of relationships with distributors and mass merchant accounts.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on market insights.
  • Experience in managing and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
