We are seeking a motivated Junior KDB+ Engineer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing complex data pipelines and architectures. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Design: Design and implement complex data pipelines and architectures for data ingestion, transformation, and distribution, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability across various data sources and platforms through regular monitoring and validation processes.
- L3 Support: Provide Level 3 support for the data platform and warehouse, troubleshooting and resolving issues to maintain high availability.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity, leveraging appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation and metadata to facilitate data governance and compliance.
- User Support: Assist data users by troubleshooting data-related issues, providing effective solutions, and enhancing the user experience.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data engineering or a related role; familiarity with KDB+ is MUST.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data quality practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
