JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a new team player to join our regional expansion initiatives, capitalising on our strong presence in South-East Asia, Middle East and European markets. This is a new position to be part of our exciting growth plan. The new team member will be part of a regional network, and be responsible for the broad spectrum of compliance-related tasks.
As an Operations Assistant, you will be working alongside a network of highly specialized professionals for the proper execution of investment transactions, payment processing, and general operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handling and monitoring the investment transactions and payment processing for funds under management.
- Work with stakeholders on fund administrative matters, form fillings for subscriptions and redemptions, and help to coordinate various investment reports to investors.
- Assist the fund operations team to prepare invoices, opening of bank accounts, ad-hoc clients’ requests.
- Assist in client communications and coordinate reporting.
- Assist the Compliance Team in KYC matters and other ad hoc regulatory requirements from time to time.
- Assist in managing and coordinating compliance and regulatory requirements involving auditors, corporate secretaries, tax advisors, and legal counsels.
PROFILE
- A Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience working in the finance industry.
- Experience in fund operations and payment processing matters will be an added advantage.
- Deadline-oriented with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel skills, is a must.
