Master Trainer:
Oversee the training and development of instructors, ensuring each instructor completes the following:
Pre-Deployment Training: Ensure each instructor undergoes at least 50 hours of pre-deployment training.
Readiness Assessment: Assess each instructor’s readiness for deployment based on an established assessment matrix, ensuring that only instructors who pass are deployed.
On-Site Assessments: Conduct at least one on-site assessment every six months for each deployed instructor in accordance with the provided assessment matrix.
Additional Training: Provide additional training for instructors as needed.
Compliance: Adhere to all Safe Management Measures and health advisories (e.g., COVID-19, haze) during training sessions as required.
Collaborate with schools to incorporate feedback on training content and methodologies, implementing suggestions.
Facilitate assessments of instructors prior to and during deployment to evaluate their effectiveness in delivering the programme.
Ensure that any instructor deemed inadequately equipped for deployment is retrained.
Perform any other adhoc duties as required.
Qualifications and experience:
At least a degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or any other engineering or computer science disciplines
At least 1 year of experience in conducting training sessions for adults.
At least 1 year of experience in conducting coding and computational thinking workshops for students aged 7 to 12 through block-based programming.
Valid Adult Training Certification (ACLP, ACTA etc).
Valid registration in MOE’s Instructor Registration and Engagement Management
System (REMS 2.0) as an instructor.
