Job Purpose
The Manager, Leasing position involves managing and leading leasing strategies and trade mix plans across our various spaces and properties, including our MRT, LRT stations and bus interchanges. You will be at the forefront of the action, establishing networks with all tenants and agents and enhancing the value of all our properties while bringing conveniences for our commuters and the community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement leasing strategies and trade mix plans for commercial activities in our MRT, LRT stations, bus interchanges and any of our commercial properties
- Ensure all available space is leased in an appropriate, timely and effective manner planning and implementing the tenancy mix
- Conduct and understand periodic retail market rental information and trends
- Source and seek out prospective tenants, generate new leasing leads
- Negotiate and monitor terms of lease
- Ensure proper leasing documentation is in place and timely submission to relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with SOP, local authorities building standards and requirements
- Establish and build networking channels with prospective, existing tenants and real estate marketing agents
- Enhance the value of our properties to generate new revenue streams
- Prepare weekly/monthly leasing reports and assist in leasing budgets
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Preferably have a Degree in Business, Real Estate/Building or related qualifications
- Preferably have 5-7 years of experience in retail property leasing/marketing with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Experience in handling land lease matters and prior knowledge in local planning regulations, land laws and Tenancy Agreement.
