Key Accountabilities
- Provide Project Specific Engineering and Design support
- Develop new technical solutions, increase brand awareness in chosen market segments and expand our market share within the Applied Solution Industry
- In conjunction with the local regional offices, determine and execute the new technical engineering processes and systems to deliver the objectives agreed by the Solutions Hub and the country affiliates (PMI plan) and provide the framework and support to build solutions capabilities of all Stakeholders
- Support the implementation of process improvement and training plans to operate and grow the solutions capabilities of our solutions businesses across all our regions
- Support, coach and lead through change by way of new ways of working, tools, responsibilities and expectation mapping and measurement.
- Work closely with key engineers to ensure delivery in all key process and training activities.
- Lead by example – always behave by way of values.
- Provide a high level of engagement through regular meetings and face to face contact.
- Communicate and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, employees, business partners, customers and authorities
- Analyse problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure resolution and recovery
- Ensure Daikin policies and legal guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are always followed.

Technical Competencies
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Niagara Framework and other Platforms, Building Automation & Analytics Technologies.
- Proficiency in creating and editing Mechanical and Electrical drawings using AutoCAD and VISIO.
- Programming for Electronic DDC control systems / PLC Systems using Functional Block Diagrams.
- Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and field communication protocols, e.g Modbus, BACnet etc.
- Ability to understand and modify electrical diagrams and drawings.
- TCP/IP Networking and protocols
Requirements
- Automation Industry Experience (Tridium Niagara or Schneider Electric Preferred)
- Degree qualified (Engineering or related discipline) preferred
- 5+ years working in successful solutions focused teams
- Proven Impact on technical solution support
