- Develop and uphold top-tier compliance programs, policies, and practices.
- Clearly communicate strategies and objectives across clients, products, and regions, providing direction and guidance on these programs. Act as a subject matter expert on compliance initiatives.
- Oversee and guide the assessment of complex issues, devise potential solutions, and drive effective resolutions with stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate key compliance risks, ensuring they are effectively managed in line with the risk appetite and governance framework.
- Ensure adherence to Compliance Risk Policies and measure compliance risk through a robust control framework, conducting regular reviews to confirm the effectiveness of identified controls.
- Perform complex data analyses, prepare, and present regional and global reports on compliance risk assessments, and monitor compliance-related issues.
- Keep up with regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy updates to identify new key risk areas.
- Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, safeguard the organization’s reputation, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, adhere to policies, apply ethical judgment, and transparently manage and report control issues.
