Assists Restaurant Manager in all food service operations including guest relations; staff supervision and development; follow-up on general cleanliness and maintenances of the restaurant and look after each and every aspect which influences the business of the restaurant.
• Assists in maintaining all equipment to its best function and cleanliness in the store
• People management: recruiting new staff, training and developing existing staff, motivating and encouraging staff to achieve targets, coordinating staff scheduling
• Assists back of house in food presentation, kitchen procedures and other food - and services - related areas
• Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant is complying with relevant health and safety regulations
• Ensuring high standards of customer service are observed at all times
• Handling guest complaints and queries
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior Job Requirements
• A minimum of 1 year experience in supervising or managing a restaurant
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse mix of staff and students
• Positive, enthusiastic and effective communication style with advanced personal communication skills
• Willingness to work hours appropriate to support the operations of the restaurant schedule and additional activities
