We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of tender submissions, conduct measurement of quantities, and perform cost estimation. The Quantity Surveyor will liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals and quotations, ensuring timely preparation of Bills of Quantities, technical data, and unit rates. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions
- Responsible for measurement of quantities and cost estimation
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals and quotations
- Carry out evaluation of proposals/quotations
- Timely preparation of Bills of Quantities, technical data, and unit rates
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma/NITEC and Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of Quantity Surveyor experience related to Fire Protection services
- Proficient in MS Office software
- Proficient in Cubic Cost Software
- A good team player with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Highly self-motivated with a good working attitude
