The incumbent is responsible for supervising/performing the steel works inspections on site as a third party in accordance with projects / consultant specifications with reference to International standards to support the achievement of the sales targets.
Job Description:
Inspection Preparation Works
- Plan the inspection jobs for the assigned project as per approved Inspection Test plans (ITP):
- Perform reviewing activities to ensure meeting the project requirements:
Inspection Works on Site
- Carry out the assigned inspection jobs as per client requirements:
- Resolve any inspection issues:
Completion of Inspection Reports
- Prepare inspection reports for submission to client:
- Submit inspection reports/certification for review and billing process:
Supporting Duties
- Prepare for new tests / certification as per organisation requirement
- Prepare /Update the calibration records and internal procedures for audits
- Recommend relevant testing services to clients
- Coach and guide staff on the job
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering
- 2 years experience in Building Structural Steel works inspection
- Experience in Oil & Gas shutdown projects
- Able to do punch list and Piping inspection
- 2 years in construction/marine construction and oil & gas.
- Certified with AWS CWI/SCWI or CSWIP 3.1/ 3.2 - WI
