Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Assist go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new markets, with a focus on expanding into regions like Malaysia and key agricultural states.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing efforts align with product launches and business development initiatives.
- Digital Marketing and Content Creation
- Oversee the content strategy for all digital platforms, including blogs, case studies, and social media.
- Collaborate with external vendors for SEO optimisation and lead generation campaigns. Ensure the website is optimised for performance and user experience.
- Lead Generation and CRM Management
- Plan and execute lead-generation campaigns using email marketing, digital ads, and partnerships. Track and optimise campaign performance using data-driven insights.
- Oversee the use of the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of leads and ongoing nurturing strategies.
- Brand Positioning and Public Relations
- Develop and manage PR campaigns, including press releases for key partnerships and product innovations.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
- Event Management
- Organise workshops, webinars, and focus group discussions to gather feedback and increase brand awareness.
- Vendor and Agency Management
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies for SEO, content creation, and digital marketing.
- Oversee creative agencies involved in branding exercises and web development projects.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Set and track key marketing KPIs such as lead generation, conversion rates, social media engagement, and website traffic.
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing performance and provide insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet marketing goals.
- Work with external vendors and internal teams to ensure cost-efficient marketing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, social media management, and content marketing.
- Experience managing external agencies and vendors.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and engage stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to optimise marketing performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the agritech, sustainability, or technology sectors.
- Knowledge of CRM tools like Pipedrive, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Familiarity with event planning and management for industry exhibitions and trade shows.
- Experience managing PR campaigns and media relationships.
