Job Scope:
- Lead the Store Department in executing store’s activities and day to day operation
- Take appropriate actions with suppliers for discrepancy in deliveries
- Check, maintain an update all incoming and outgoing stock records via stock system.
- Issue of materials to workshop / production as per work schedule via stock system
- Advise purchasing staff on replenishment of material when the re-order level is reached
Unpack, mark and stack goods in-order for work-in-progress and for stock - Liaise with production personnel and prepare material requisition form charged under factory expense.
- Supervise and train all staff in the Store Department; Assign tasks to team on day to day basis
- Plan and conduct quarterly and yearly stocktake
- Check and replenishment of inventory stock under store’s control
- Raise Material Requisition Form for purchase of stocks.
- Conduct annual performance appraisal of store staff.
- Schedule and carry out appropriate maintenance work of forklift.
- Arrange material storage to optimise warehouse space.
- Plan and arrange daily delivery of parts to the customers including subsidiaries’ customers.
- Take on added tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
- Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.
Requirement:
- Driving license (advantage)
- Must know how to operate forklift (if no license, company can send him to training and get the license)
