About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) Technician/Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of ACMV systems for commercial properties. This role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair ACMV systems including air conditioners, chillers, AHUs, and other ventilation systems.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on systems to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems of ACMV units.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify faults and inefficiencies in HVAC systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and modify ventilation systems when necessary.
  • Replace or repair faulty components such as compressors, motors, pumps, and cooling towers.
  • Prepare service reports and document work done on each job.
  • Comply with all safety and environmental regulations while performing tasks.
  • Provide professional and timely customer service.
  • Work with the team to upgrade or retrofit existing ACMV systems to meet energy efficiency standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ACMV/HVAC installation and maintenance (2-3 years preferred).
  • Familiarity with various ACMV systems, including split units, VRF, chilled water systems, etc.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems in ACMV.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., Work at Heights, Safety Supervisors) are a plus.

Work Schedule for ACMV Technician/Engineer

  • Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Standby Duty: 24-hour standby for emergency support
