Job Responsibilities:
- Develop firmware specifications based on design rules, internal processes, and product/system requirements.
- Design and implement embedded firmware following established design standards, processes, and specific customer/product needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement signal processing algorithms in embedded firmware.
- Create and review test methodologies, validate design performance against specifications, debug embedded software, and document the final design.
- Provide support for production implementation from an embedded software perspective.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain the product lifecycle, addressing customer complaints and conducting failure analysis.
- Coordinate with headquarters for technical support and technology transfer.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with assistance from the head office.
Requirements:
- Master / Bachelor in Electronic / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in embedded software design and development
- Strong knowledge and direct experience with C & C++ programming languages.
- Strong knowledge on digital electronics hardware including I2C, SPI, UART, PWM, ADC, USB, etc.
- Experience in designing, coding, debugging and validating on ARM Cortex microcontrollers are preferred.
- Knowledge on Python & Matlab would be advantage.
- Logical and strong interpersonal with analytical skills, strong team player and independent.
- Creative, self-driven and willing to acquire new skills and grow himself/herself.
