Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Molecular Diagnostic Technical Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for acquiring new distributors in untapped markets, delivering technical presentations, and promoting our NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) and qPCR (quantitative PCR) products to distributors. This role will involve working closely with the marketing team to create technical content and drive business growth through strategic channel partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new distribution partners in emerging markets for our molecular diagnostic products.
- Conduct technical presentations to potential distributors, showcasing the value and benefits of our product portfolio.
- Promote and support NGS and qPCR products, ensuring distributors have the knowledge and resources needed to succeed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create technical content and support promotional efforts.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing distributors, providing ongoing technical support and product updates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in molecular diagnostics to effectively communicate industry trends and advancements to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in the molecular diagnostics industry, with a strong background in NGS and qPCR products.
- Demonstrated ability to acquire new business and hit revenue targets in a channel sales environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver complex technical information clearly.
- Experience in creating technical marketing content.
- Highly target-driven, with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Optimistic, proactive personality with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
