As we continue to expand our market presence in Singapore and Hong Kong, we are seeking a dynamic Account Manager (Key Account - Business Development) to join our team and lead the charge in acquiring new corporate and conference clients. This role is perfect for someone passionate about event technology with a track record of sales success, particularly in the B2B sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify and target potential corporate, institutes and conference clients in Singapore, APAC and the Middle East, focusing on hunting new opportunities and expanding our client base.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue goals, focusing on the corporate and conference markets.
- Client Acquisition: Establish relationships with key decision-makers, including event planners, marketing directors, and C-level executives, to drive engagement with EventNook’s solutions.
- Consultative Sales: Act as a trusted advisor by understanding clients' event needs and proposing tailored solutions to enhance their event management processes.
- Pipeline Management: Build and manage a healthy pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and tracking of all sales activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and ensure seamless delivery of client expectations.
- Regional Focus: Take ownership of sales efforts in both Singapore and Hong Kong, with occasional travel for client meetings and events in Hong Kong.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing feedback to enhance product features and sales tactics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in B2B sales, with a strong preference for experience in event technology, SaaS, or related industries.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in hunting new business and meeting/exceeding sales targets, especially in corporate or conference sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level clients.
- Sales Strategy and Negotiation: Strong skills in developing sales strategies, closing deals, and negotiating contracts.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the events industry, particularly within the Singapore and Hong Kong markets, is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: A proactive and self-driven approach, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of sales efforts.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and stakeholders.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
